The Al Nahda is situated in Barka, less than an hour from Muscat. This resort offers spacious villa accommodation in lush gardens, a range of leisure facilities and a spa.

All of the accommodation is found in the villa-style units that are scattered in the gardens. All of the suites are large in size, include a seating area plus a large balcony or terrace. All suites also have a DVD player.

The service needs to be improved to get back returning guests

The staff were courteous. Location is good and so are the rooms

The pool was dirty with no attendants. The Room service took a whole 20 minutes to get someone on the phone.

Resort was in very bad conditions , Restaurant was with full of dust out side sitting area was not cleaned for Months, A

Nothing , Absolute failure, AC was not working at the room, it was snot at all clean Nothing in Children’s ply area , there was no light at all in entire area ,

The grounds were big.

The bathroom was not clean and the faucet leaked. In the restaurant was only one guy working. The hotel must have been nice a few years back but now it needs big time renovations. A Manager is probably needed. We, 4 adults, can not recommend this hotel.

The staff were more friendly and helpful, the neture at the resort was wonderful and very calm, but a little bit of gardening maintenance is required

Best surroundings. Nice rooms. nice Food.

Food is tooooooo expensive. Water price is 2000% (two thousand) higher in price than normal price in restraurants. For Rain Dance music and music system was not good. some items were not available in room like bathrobe, all items availble for 1 person only when we booked it for family stay.

The value which I paid wasn’t as the standard The shower area was broken The pool was dirty and I got injured because of that The first aid kit has expired stuff inside it (not full first aid kit) The shuttles was not available all the time so we have walked long way to the reception or the car and back to the room This resort should be downgraded to 3 star or less

Disappointing

It was tranquil due to few people present at the resort. It felt like an escape from the city.

Although staff were helpful and eager, the stay wasn't without challenges. The bathroom was broken and the AC wasnt working, casuing us to transfer to a different room which had a leaking sink and AC. We placed an order for dinner(which was paid for in the booking) which they claimed to have not received. We were told to order food from talabat. The restaurant and many facilities were not available or closed. The kitchenette doesn't have a stove or microwave oven. The resort should make guests aware of this prior to booking. The place is in dire need or restoration.

Very nice location, facilites need improving as do security procedures

Very nice location, lots of greenery. Close by to the city centre.

Aircon not working in restaurant (breakfast buffet is served here...) during both days of our stay. Foul smell in restaurant toilets. Facilities in poor condition e.g. damaged billiards table and cues in Restaurant building. No desk staff in gym/recreation centre resulting in random people (some were not even staying at the Resort) accessing, using and spoiling facilities. The Management of Al Nahda Resort really need to start restricting access to the Resort for actual guests only, there seemed to be people just driving into the Resort, parking up and randomly accessing facilities...Security should be preventing non guests entering the place.

Room was clean spacious clean.

Resort used to be well maintained but this time, pool was dirty and waterfall was not working. Tennis court was not maintained,there were no activists. No cycles. Food was average. However management was polite enough enough to compansate us with free lunch and late checkout

Al Nahda Resort and Spa needs massive improvement

The location and the rooms were very nice. Also the staff was very friendly and willing to help.

The resort is not maintained at all. All the trees are dried up, the grass is unkept and other than the swimming pool all the other facilities are in tatters. The gymnasium and games room felt like nobody has been there in years. We even had to go and switch on the lights on the gymnasium ourselves as there wasn't a single staff there. At night, except for a few areas the resort was unlit and there were areas that were completely pitch black and we were afraid to even roam around the resort at night. When it came to the rooms, the washrooms weren't particularly clean.

Unfortunately not taking care of the place.

This place used to be amazing however, no maintenance the gardens and the trees just grow randomly.

The pool and gym was out of service, There is no more restaurant in the resort. You can only order food to be delivered in the room. The place looks sad.
